Your Web Ranking is how far down your website is located in the Search Engine results based on search terms that people type in.
1st Submit takes the hassle out of checking your Web Rank by allowing you to select multiple Search Engines at the same time.
To get started, enter a URL in the "URL" dropdown.
Then type in or select a search term in the "Keyword" dropdown.
Select the check box for the appropriate Search Engines from the "Search Engine" list.
When you have selected all of the Search Engines that you want to check, click the Start button.
The "Results Found" column shows how many times your keyword was found in the selected Search Engine.
"Last Positions" tracks where your keyword's position the last time that you ran 1st Submit's Web Ranking.
The "Current Positions" column graphically indicates the position of your website when the keyword is entered on the particular Search Engine.
New
Clicking "New" clears the data from the Web Ranking screen and gets 1st Submit ready for new input.
Open
Click this option to open a previously saved Web Ranking file. Web Ranking files are saved with the file extension .MK.
Start
This option begins the Web Ranking process. Make sure that you have filled in the URL and Keyword fields and selected the Search Engines from the list provided.
Cancel
You can cancel the Web Ranking process at any time by clicking "Cancel"
Generate Report
Clicking this button will generate and show a report detailing the results of your Web Ranking.
Print Report
Clicking "Print Report" will output the Web Ranking report straight to the printer. A dialog will pop up and ask you which printer that you want to use to print the report.
Reports
You can view any of the Web Ranking reports that you have generated from this screen. Simply select a report name from the "Report" dropdown.
