Cut, Copy, Paste and Clear are used to manipulate text in the fields throughout the program. You can access these functions by clicking on the "Edit" option on the top menu bar or by using the Shortcut Keys described below.

Cut:   Erases the highlighted text and places it in the text buffer. You can also Cut by highlighting text and hitting CTRL + X. Cutting is similar to Copying but Cutting erases the highlighted text. Text that has been "cut" can be retrieved by using the "Paste" function or by hitting CTRL + V.

Copy:   Places the highlighted text into the text buffer. You can also Copy by highlighting text and hitting CTRL + C. Text that has been "copied" can be retrieved by using the "Paste" function or by hitting CTRL + V.

Paste:   Retrieves the text that has been Cut or Copied. Text that has been cut or copied can be retrieved by using the "Paste" function or by hitting CTRL + V.

Clear:   Clears the highlighted text. This is similar to "Cut" but it does NOT place the text in the text buffer. This function is used to permanently erase text. It can be reversed by hitting CTRL + Z (Undo).
