Link Popularity Analyzer
Link Popularity Analyzer is a tool that checks the link popularity status of your web site on numerous search engines and enables you to compare with other web sites on the internet (i.e. your competitors).
What is link popularity?
The majority of search engines rank your web pages according to the amount of links that target your website. Google uses link popularity as the most important factor in ranking sites, other search engines such as HotBot, Alta Vista, MSN and Inktomi also use link popularity in their formulas. However, all major search engines will eventually use link popularity, therefore it is beneficial to monitor and improve your link popularity.
High link popularity is important to achieve high ranking on search engines. The higher your web site ranks on search engines, the more successful your site is likely to be!
Link popularity analyzer lets you know how 'popular' search engines believe your site to be. You are also able to analyze how popular other sites such as competitors are. Each figure in the main window's list represents the number of web site links that link to your web site in a search engine. Right-click a domain name and select "Analyze Link Popularity for this Domain" and then "Show Link Popularity In <search engine>" to receive an in-depth listing of how many and which web sites link to you.
How does link popularity affect my search engine ranking?
By increasing the number of quality links to your web site will improve your search engine rankings. Not only will you rank better in search engines, but links from other web sites also mean an increase of targeted traffic to your site.
1st Submit will analyze the Link popularity of your site based on ratings from Google, MSN, AllTheWeb, Altavista and Hotbot. You can optionally remove any of the sites making up the total by unchecking the search engine name at the bottom of the page.

Add Domains
Adds one or more web sites to the list. After having added the web site to the list, click the Analyze Domains button to get the link popularity numbers for the newly added web site/s.
Open List
Open an existing Link popularity analysis report from file.
Save List
Save the current Link popularity analysis report in a file.
Analyze Domains
Updates the link popularity numbers for all web sites in the list.
Cancel
Stop the active procedure "Analyze Domains"
Clear List
Clears all domains from the list.
Domain
Lists the web sites you want to analyze their link popularity.
Total
The total links from all the search engines for this domain/web site.
Google
The links from Google search engine for this domain/web site.
MSN
The links from MSN search engine for this domain/web site.
AllTheWeb
The links from AllTheWeb search engine for this domain/web site.
Altavista
The links from Altavista search engine for this domain/web site.
Hotbot
The links from Hotbot search engine for this domain/web site.

Updates the link popularity numbers for this Domain in the list.
Add Domain
Adds one or more Domain to the list. After having added the Domain to the list, click the Analyze Link Popularity button to get the link popularity numbers for the newly added Domain/s.
